Swanage Railway operates full-size steam and diesel passenger trains along a five and a half mile-line between Norden and Swanage on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset.

The award-winning heritage railway attraction offers a unique way to travel through the beautiful Purbeck countryside, with stunning views along the way including the iconic Corfe Castle.

Swanage Railway hosts a variety of themed events, including steam and diesel galas, a Halloween Bistro and Santa Express.

The heritage attraction also offers cream tea trains, footplate experiences on steam locomotives, and railway photography days.

Steam trains run throughout the year and daily from April to October.

Railway stations are located at Norden, Corfe Castle, Harmans Cross, Herston Halt, and Swanage. Travel is permitted from any station, in either direction, with one-way and return ticket options available.
