About Our Advertising Boards
Our advertising boards are mounted on the ferry’s top-deck railings, offering excellent exposure to both pedestrian and vehicle passengers for the duration of the crossing.
Board Specifications
Standard size: Approximately 1m (high) × 0.85m (wide)
The artwork area will be slightly smaller: please confirm exact dimensions with your board supplier before creating your design
You Supply Your Own Board We rent the advertising space to you, and you arrange for your own board to be manufactured and installed. For safety reasons, we have strict requirements about fixings to the ferry railings, so please contact us for specifications if you’re using your own sign maker.
How It Works
Annual Rental Period
- Invoicing runs from 01st April to 31st March each year
- Current annual cost: £540 + VAT per advertising space
- Mid-year bookings: if you join partway through the year, you will be invoiced only for the remaining months, often with a short grace period to allow time for board production
Payment Terms
- All invoices show a clear due date
- Payment must be received by the due date to maintain your advertising space
- We do not operate customer credit accounts and do not issue payment reminders
- Late payments will result in immediate removal of your board and cancellation of your space
Please note: If payment is not received by the due date, your board will be removed and the space will be offered to those on our waiting list. We cannot make exceptions to this policy. You would need to rejoin the waiting list if you wished to advertise again.
During Refit Periods The ferry undergoes scheduled maintenance every two years (usually in November). During these periods all boards are temporarily removed.
Board Collection If your board is removed for any reason, you have 30 calendar days to collect it (with two days’ notice). After this period, uncollected boards will be disposed of.
Updating Your Board You can arrange to remove your board at any time (with three days’ notice) to update your advertising, then have it reinstalled.
